Rancang Bangun Voltage Source Inverter Satu Fasa Sebagai Penggerak Motor Pompa Air Untuk Pertanian Hidroponik

Inverter is one of the electronic devices that used to changing the voltage from DC (Direct Curent) into voltage AC (Alternating Curent). The output from inverter can be an AC voltage with the form of sine wave, square wave, and quasi square wave modification. Inverter is used in many types of industrial and home applications, mainly used is AC Motor Drives, System Controls and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). This inverter serves as a provider of backup power, as emergency power when the electricity die out home. Furthermore, a DC to AC inverter will play an important role in changing the DC energy from renewable energy sources such as solar cells became AC electrical energy that used daily.
The design of DC to AC inverter of this phase using a full-bridge converter inverter type, where Time to live (on) or off controlled by the circuit Mosfet and IC SG3524 as quasi square (modified) wave generator and duty cycle, and that will generate a frequency of 50 Hz. Input voltage source that will be generated circuit Push-Pull Converter is 246 VDC. The hardware circuit is then constructed and the output waveforms are shown by oscilloscope.
The actual results of the design is the frequency generated at 50 Hz, and duty cycle 0%-40%. the voltage generated when no load with 224 VAC, the results of the testing able to turn on 40 Watt water pump motor as a load.
