Pembuatan Rangkaian Daya Solar Battery Charger Berbasis Push-Pull Converter
This final project aims to create a design of push-pull converter that is used in charging system of accumulator battery whose power source comes from solar panel. The solar panel has a maximum power of 150 watts with a terminal voltage in a no-load state of 21.67 volts. Battery accumulator used is of sealed lead acid (SLA) capacity of 7.5 Ah with a nominal voltage of 12 volts. The solar panel charges the battery through the charge controller. The push-pull dc-dc converter circuit has been used on the charge controller to ensure that battery charging takes place in a safe condition even though the solar panel output voltage is fluctuating by limiting the battery charge voltage to 14.1 volts. Test results for no load and load conditions show that the charge controller can charging the accumulator safely. This can be seen when the test range battery charging voltage does not exceed 14.1 volts. The charging voltage remains below the range of 14.1 volts.
