Pengaruh Kerjasama Bimp-Eaga Terhadap Kalimantan Timur Di Bidang Pariwisata Tahun 2012-2016

This research tries to explain how the influence of BIMP EAGA cooperation on East Kaliamantan which is one of border area with neighboring country. Where BIMP EAGA aims to accelerate and reduce the gap of regional economic growth or border areas. Intra and extra trade, increasing investment, as well as improving tourism flow is a goal in the establishment of BIMP-EAGA cooperation. This study uses the perspective of liberalism, liberalism is an ideology that upholds individual freedom, besides that government, state and non-state actors also strive to provide order and justice in society that is included in the process of inter-state relations. This study uses the theory of international cooperation and uses nation- level analysis . BIMP EAGA cooperation was established in 1994 in Davao City, East Kalimantan as one of the participating provinces in developing economies in the border region experienced significant economic growth. The 2012-2016 blueprint programs carry out strategies in connectivity, barns, tourism and the environment. In East Kalimantan tourism is one of the strategic sectors in the East Kalimantan Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMD) of East Kalimantan in 2013-2018.
