Upaya Pengembangan Infrastruktur Pulau Jemur sebagai Obyek Wisata di Kabupaten Rokan Hilir

Jemur Island with the beautiful panorama and the potency of Jemur Island has promised can become as a natural tourism but in this case is still not handled optimally because it is still not the availability of infrastucture (such as infrastructur) that can support and bu used as natural tourism of the Jemur Island that can be enjoyed by tourists and can improve APBD of Rokan Hilir Regency. Not only has the beautiful panorama but in the Island there are endangered species that is only found on the Jemur Island namely Green Turtle so that it can be used as a special attraction and the golden sand for visitors or tourists. The purpose of this research to know the efforts of development infrastructure of Jemur Island as a travel object of Rokan Hilir Regency.
Theory in this reseacrh is Suwantoro’s theory that the principal elements supporting the development of tourism, tourism object and tourism attraction, tourism infrastructur, tourism facilities, governance or infrastructure and communities or the environment. This research has used descriptive qualitative research method. The data collected through interview, documentation and observation. Purposive sampling method as informnation and analyse data source with triangulation tecnique.
The results of the data analysis is descriptive qualitative in development of infrastructure Jemur Island as tourism object in Rokan Hilir Regency is still not up yet. It can be seen from tourism object and tourism attraction which still lack the tourists to visit the Jemur Island and infrastructure unfulfilled this can be seen from the number of the fleet’s to the Island is limited at only 2 times departures in each month and the incomplete facility to develop Jemur Island and luck of public awareness about the tourism.
