This research aims to explain the impact on the value of Indonesian fishery exports to the EU, especially the Netherlands since the implementation of marine and fisheries minister regulation number per.28 / men / 2009 about the certification of fish catch.
In this research the authors use the perspective of liberalism. In his view liberalism promotes interdependence and cooperation. To bridge the problem to the hypothesis the author uses the level of analysis of nation-state (nation-state). For more entry into the case of the impact of the certification of fish catch on the value of Indonesian fishery exports. the author uses the theory of international trade by david ricardo who put forward the comparative advantage is the basis in carrying out international trade.
Indonesia applies fish catch certification to ensure the quality of Indonesian fisherman catch and anticipate Illegal Unregulated and Unreported Fishing (IUU-Fishing) actions. Through the application of fish catch sertification will be useful, increasing the competitiveness of Indonesian fishery exports also increase the confidence of EU countries, especially the Netherlands to conduct fisheries cooperation with Indonesia.
