Kinerja Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Museum Daerah dan Taman Budaya Provinsi Riau

This research is based on the phenomenon of the number of tupoksi from UPT Regional Museum and Taman Budaya which is not running optimally. Because the performance produced by UPT Regional Museum and Cultural Park has an important role for the progress of the Regional Museum of Sang Nila Utama activities as a determinant of whether or not the activities of the museum itself. This study aims to determine the Performance of Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Regional Museum and Cultural Park Riau Province and to determine what factors affect each Technical Unit Implementation Unit (UPT) Regional Museum and Cultural Park Riau Province.
The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques are done through observation, interviews, and documentation and all information is collected, analyzed, and studied to become a unified whole. Location of research in this research is UPT Regional Museum and Cultural Park of Riau Province, which is Technical Implementation Unit from Culture Department of Riau Province. Data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative data analysis.
The results showed that the Performance of Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Regional Museum and Cultural Park Riau Province not yet optimal. This can be seen several indicators as follows: Productivity UPT Museum Regional and Cultural Park not yet fully optimal, The quality of services provided by UPT Regional Museum and Taman Budaya in this case the performance of educational guidance staff is inconsistent, Responsiveness of UPT Regional Museum and Taman Budaya Riau Can not be said good as a public organization, Responsiblitas owned by UPT Regional Museum and Crocodile Garden is still low, UPT Regional Museum Accountability and Cultural Park Riau Province still not optimal. Factors affecting the performance of Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Regional Museum and Taman Budaya are not yet adequate facilities and infrastructure that can support the performance of UPT Regional Museum and Cultural Park, and lack of quality and quantity of human resources (HR) contained within the UPT Museum Regional and Cultural Park.
