Koordinasi Penyelenggaraan Pelayanan Umum Bidang Angkutan Di Dinas Perhubungan, komunikasi, dan Informatika Kota Pekanbaru

This research attempts to explain about the coordination among Department of Communication and Information Affair, traffic force and land mass transportation organization (ORGANDA) in improving general service in the scope of transportation effort. This research focuses on public transportation because there are a number of violations that always happen every year, one of them is violation on route permission. In 2014, public transportation (Bus, public min van, and taxi) that have not route permitted were 8 violations, meanwhile in 2015 these violation were increasing to 88 violations. This research aims to understand how the coordination effort of public service in the scope of transportation, especially for public transportation as well as to identify factors that influence the coordination of the implementation of public services in the scope of transportation
In this research, researcher uses the grand theories of fayol, koontz, and o’donnel in which there are 4 indicators, among these are: 1. Mutual cooperation, 2. Understandant of each job descriptions, 3. Good communication relation, 4. There is a communication through meeting. This research uses qualitative-descriptive method. In data gathering, writer uses interviewing technique, observation, and documentation. Using key informan as an information source and triangulation technique as a source for the authentic data
The finding shows that coordination has been done by the traffic department, traffic force and ORGANDA have not effective yet. In coordination the involved parties should pay attention to the implementing goals, so that the meeting attendanta are able to receive the guideline for the two way communication pattern. Coordination still faces barriers from issues such as ineffective communication, underperformance coordination. Consequnetly, the givers and receiver of the policy are not well coordinated
