Profil Kasus Autopsi Akibat Intoksikasi Di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Pekanbaru Periode 2012-2017
Death due to intoxication may occur in the presence of both direct or indirect exposure of toxic substance and can be determined by forensic toxicology examination. Death from intoxication can occur directly from the toxic substance or not, either accidentally or intentionally. This study aims to determined the autopsy profile of intoxication victim cases in Bhayangkara Hospital Pekanbaru 2012-2017. This study is a descriptive retrospective study which uses secondary data from Visum et Repertum (VeR). The result found that the sample were 12 cases. The number of cases in 2012 was 0% (n = 0), in 2013 was 0% (n=0), 2014 were 8,3% (n=1), 2015 were 33,3% (n=4), 2016 were 33,3% (n=4), 2017 were 25% (n=3). Age 26-45 are the age group with the greatest number of victims 58,3% (n = 7). Male victims 66,7% (n = 8) and female victims 33,3% (n = 4).The caused of death mostly by other causes which is 66,7% (n=8) and death caused by directly from the toxic subtances were 33,3% (n=4). The most toxic subtances are drugs 83,3% (n=10). The origin precintc mostly came from outside pekanbaru 75% (n = 9). It can be concluded that the age group 26-45 are the age group most and drugs are the most toxic subtances involved in cases of death related to intoxication.
