Studi Penumbuhan Paladium Di Atas Pengumpul Arus Terhadap Nilai Kapasitansi Sel Superkapasitor
Studies on the growth of palladium nanoparticles have been carried out in order to improve the performance of supercapacitor cells. Carbon electrodes were produced from empty palm fruit bunches concentration with KOH of 0.3 M, 0.6 M and 0.9 M. The synthesis of activated carbon electrode using a combination of carbonization and physical activation. Carbonization of the electrode is carried at 600ºC with N2 gas emitting and CO2 activation is carried at 700ºC with 2 hours hold time. Electrolyte used in this research was H2SO4 1 M, molarity. Characterization of palladium nanoparticles at current collectors was performed by FESEM showing the morphology of palladium nanoparticles growing in clusters with uniform size. X-ray diffraction studies are characterized by the presence of palladium peaks (111). X-ray dispersive energy analysis with weight percentage of 70,24% with atomic amount of 44,05%. The specific capacitance values of supercapacitor cells a electrochemical properties using cyclic voltammetry before and after optimum growth of palladium nanoparticle at 0.3 M concentration KOH of 106.16 F/g and 115.17 F/g.
