Pembuatan Sistem Akuisisi Data Dan Pengendalian Menggunakan Arduino Berbasis Python (Studi Kasus: Suhu Fluida Pada Sistem Pemanas)
Data acquisition (DAQ) and control system is applied in industrial automation processes. The main objective of this research is to create the DAQ and control system using Arduino and Python-based in developing a graphical user interface (GUI). The created system consists of two components, i.e. hardware and software, which are designed on client-runtime module. PyQt5 is chosen as the basis for developing the GUI. The DAQ and control system is carried out on a heating system with the controlled variable is fluid temperature and manipulated variabel is onoff command command to electric heater as actuation element. Through the GUI, the DAQ and control system can be started. The GUI allows user to visualize and store data in real time and asynchronously. The performance of the system is verified based on manual and PID control. It was found that till now, the system can be carried out only for interactive manual control. Even so, the created system can be used for data collection process in the process control practical in Chemical Engineering Department of Riau University. In the future, it is expected that the performance of the system can be improved.
