Pengembangan Ekowisata Air Terjun Guruh Gemurai Di Desa Kasang Kecamatan Kuantan Mudik Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

This research purposed to find out identify the potential of Guruh Gemurai waterfall tourism object to be developed into ecotourism in Kasang Village, Kuantan Mudik Subdistrict, Kuantang Singingi Regency and analyze the strategy of developing Guruh Gemurai waterfall area in Kasang Village, Kuantan Mudik District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. Primary data was obtained through interviews to find out information about the Guruh Gemurai Waterfall ecotourism development. In addition, observations or observations were carried out directly in the field, namely in Guruh Gemurai Waterfall, Kuantan Singingi Regency. Secondary data is obtained from various sources in the form of study and research reports, scientific publications, regional publications, reports of organizations or agencies related to field data needs. The results showed that: (1) the attraction conditions found in the Guruh Gemurai waterfall area are unique so that it has the potential to be used as a tourist attraction, (2) accessibility is sufficient to support ecotourism development (3) amenities are sufficient to support ecotourism development. The strategies for Guruh Gemurai waterfall ecotourism development include: 1) increasing stakeholder knowledge and awareness of the Guruh Gemurai Waterfall development program in the Kasang village area, 2) formulating the concept of ecotourism by the government by involving groups of organizations and communities through existing NGOs, 3 ) focusing on disseminating information regarding unique natural conditions, naturalness and securing the existing path so that tourists who come have a good impression when visiting both directly and the internet media.
