Kajian Penerapan Green Architecture Terhadap Hunian Perumahan Di Kota Pekanbaru (Green Hill Residence, Maton House Dan Green Panam Regency)
Pekanbaru is one of economic development cities center, so it has an impact on increasing the community needs Occupancy, both from the lower classes to the upper classes. Green concept housing is one of the concepts that are currently popular because it applies environmentally friendly concepts. Especially referring to the building associated with the impact caused by the natural environment in the site and its surroundings. The environment is seen as a relationship between humans and humans, humans and the surrounding living things (animals and plants) as well as humans with existing natural conditions. Regulation Number 32 of 2009 concerning environmental management and protection, states that sustainable development with an environmental perspective is a conscious and planned effort that integrates the environment, including resources into the development process to ensure the ability, welfare and quality of life of present and future generations. The sustainable development must have a concept in carrying out its development activities, such as a concept of development, environmental concepts and socio-cultural concepts. Then the need for research on the application of housing design criteria that have green architecture concept in housing in the city of Pekanbaru. In addition, it can also be known the results of calculations comparing based on the green conditions in Greenship-GBCI with the conditions in existing housing in the city of Pekanbaru. The application of green architecture will refer to the Greenship-GBCI national standard.
This study aims to analyze the design and application of green architecture to towards green concepts housing in the city of Pekanbaru. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a survey method and measuring the green level of 3 housing objects that are the object of research based on Greenship standards, including: 1) land use; 2) energy efficiency and conservation; 3) water conservation; 4) material source and cycle; 5)air quality and indoor air comfort; and 6) building environmental management. Greenship assessment will produce four ranks, such as 1) Bronze (minimum 26 points); 2) Silver (minimum 35 points); 3) Gold (minimum 43 points); and 4) Platinum (minimum 56 points)
Based on the Greenship Homes parameter (GBCI, 2014), the study results of the three green concepts housing are, 1) Green Hill Residence housing with a value of 21 points from 77 points with a percentage of 27.27% not included in the minimum limit based on Greenship homes. 2) Maton House Housing with a value of 29 points from 77 points with a percentage of 37.66% included in the minimum limit grenship homes with bronze ratings. 3) Green Panam Regency Housing with a value of 16 points from 77 points with a percentage of 20.77% is not included in the rating limit of Greenship Homes. From the three housing that became the object of this study, Maton House housing which is included in the minimum limit rating in the application of green architecture while the two housing, Green Hill Residence and Green Panam Regency housing have not met the minimum green criteria based on greenship homes.
Green level assessment measurement tools based on Greenship Homes can be a guideline for further researchers to focus more on one measurement of Greenhip homes so that people know the benefits of the concept of green architecture and as a guideline for housing developers to apply the concept of green architecture to residential areas in the city of Pekanbaru. Housing conditions that do not meet the minimum criteria for green assessment are still very possible to reach the minimum limit based on Greenship. Efforts to increase the new points can later come from interior and exterior, such as the installation of renewable energy, replacement of LED lights and installation of light sensors.
