Analisis Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Perilaku Penggunaan Apd Pada Petugas Laboratorium Rumah Sakit Di Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
Laboratory personnel as workers of one unit in a hospital with a high enough potential hazard also have the possibility to experience the risk of these hazards. Laboratory activities have risks that come from various factors, namely physical, chemical, ergonomic and psychosocial. Variation, size, type and completeness of laboratories also determine occupational health and safety. Along with advances in science and technology, especially advances in laboratory technology, the risks faced by laboratory personnel are increasing. In order to overcome the risks of such hazards, appropriate efforts to control hazards must always be carried out by the workplace manager as stated in Law No. 36 of 2009 article 165: "Workplace managers are required to carry out all forms of health efforts through prevention, improvement, treatment and recovery for workers".
Researchers used survey methods in research. The research design used in this study with Sectional Cress design is that researchers observe at one time or pointsapproch, each subject should only be observed at one time and measurements are made on the character status or subject variables at the time of observation.
Based on research results from 4 hospital laboratories in Rokan Hilir District, two laboratories of good quality (50%) and 2 laboratories (50%) of poor quality. While the results of interviews with 39 Hospital laboratory personnel obtained the results of the assessment of the laboratory quality there are good as many as 14 and not as good as many as 25. Parameters used to measure the implementation of clinical management include the availability of Personal Protective Equipment (APD), the availability of SOP (Standards Operational Procedures), periodic medical examinations / screening of laboratory personnel, training of laboratory personnel, and availability of health promotion tools on occupational safety. The average respondent explained that the knowledge of PPE in the Rokan Hilir District Hospital was lacking, where the lowest item of staff knowledge was questions about the function of SOP, while the highest knowledge was on questions of laboratory understanding.
Then it can be concluded the Behavior of Laboratory Personnel towards the Use of PPE is divided into 3 parts, namely: Knowledge, Attitude and Action. Behavior of Laboratory Personnel is known to be dominated by bad behavior reaching 32 people or 82.1%, so this condition illustrates the knowledge, attitudes and actions that still cannot run well by Laboratory officials in the use of APD.
There is a significant relationship between Laboratory Quality Factors and the Behavior of Laboratory Personnel in the Use of PPE. This can also be interpreted that the better the behavior of Laboratory Personnel in the use of PPE, the Quality of the Laboratory will be better, and vice versa the less good the behavior of Laboratory Personnel in the use of APD, the Quality of the Laboratory will be increasingly poor.
There is an insignificant relationship between Laboratory Management Factors and the Behavior of Laboratory Personnel in the Use of APD. This can also mean that the better the Behavior of Laboratory Personnel in the Use of APD, the better the Management of Laboratory Management, and vice versa the less good the Behavior of Laboratory Personnel in the Use of APD, the Management of Laboratory Management will be increasingly bad.
