Pengaruh Lingkungan Fisik Dan Non Fisik Terhadap Produktivitas Kerja Perawat Di RSUD Arosuka Kabupaten Solok
Hospital as a medium of health which gives the health treatment to the people has very strategic role in accelerating the increasing the level of people’s health. The work environment is a factor which indirectly greatly affecting the nurse work productivity. It is impossible for the nurse to work efficiently without the supported by the work environment which promoted the nurse confidence in carry out their daily activities.
Arosuka regional public hospital of solok district is a type of government hospital, and labeled as type-c. The nurse evaluation is done one time a year. In 2018, 33% of nurses did the documentation of nursing primary assessment in 1x24 hours was not compatible with the assessment guide, 32% of the nurses who did the nursing documenting assessment was not compatible with nursing care standard, 45% of the nurses who did the nursing diagnosis was not compatible with result, 35% of the nurses who did the nursing action planning was not compatible with the appointed nursing diagnosis, 39% of the nurses who did the nursing evaluation was not compatible with the appointed nursing diagnosis, and 37% who did the implementation of nursing care in the patient note was not good enough.
This research aimed at analyzing the effect of physical and non-physical environment toward nurses’ working productivity in regional public hospital of arosuka, solo district. It was a quantitative research with cross sectional study. The population was all the nurses of this hospital which the total of 62 persons. The sampling technique was total sampling, with the total of 62 respondents. The data were analyzed by using chi square test and multiple regression analysis.
The result showed that the variable which affecting the nurse work productivity in arosuka regional public hospital of solok were temperature (p value=0.001), working culture (p value=0.004), work staisfaction (p value=0.000). Lighting (p value=0.653) and humidity (p value=0.772) was not affecting the work productivity in the hospital. The most dominant factor was the work satisfaction with PR 16.5 means the work satisfaction of the nurses inflicting more 16.5 of work productivity than the nurses without good work satisfaction.
The bad temperature in the room while working, will affect their health and decreasing their work productivity, like the laziness, lack of discipline, did a lot of mistakes, the quality and the quantity of work do not compatible with the appointed standard. The human productivity will reach the highest at the 24-27 temperature. The good temperature must be maintained in the people’s work station (except in the short period of time), which minimum of 16C after the first hour.
The high or optimal work satisfaction will make the nurses become loyal to the hospital and they will do more than the expectation. Their working motivation will increase, working with the sense of calm and comfortable will result the high working satisfaction and affecting the working productivity. The working culture is the most affecting things in increasing or decreasing the successfulness of the nurse in their job and the responsibility. Besides, the appointed working culture will result the better working productivity.
From the result of the research, it is better for the hospital to apply the more decisive rules for the nurses’ responsibility. Furthermore, it can be done by putting the poster or sticker to improve better working culture. Besides, the head of nurse’s room need to monitor and gives more attention for the nurses’ working environment routinely to increase their comfortable and improve their working productivity.
When using the cooling system, it needs to maintained and operated base on the guide to produce temperature, airflow, and humidity which comfort the patients and the employees. To avoid the bacterial breeder, it needs to pay more attention in the cooling tower. The nurses of Arosoka hospital of solok are expected to keep a good relationship among them, working cooperatively, helping each other, and be responsible for the job to improve the working productivity in doing the nurse care.
