Profil Hematologis Dan Fisiologis Ikan Patin Pangasius Hypophthalmus Yang Diberi Pakan Dengan Penambahan Suplemen Herbal
The use of turmeric, galanga, and ginger as an alternative feed supplement have antibacterial, antimicrobial, increase the growth rate and immune system of fish. The aim of research to was dose of herbal supplements and stocking densities that were effective in improving the health status of fish and the growth rate of striped catfish. The method used in this research is the experimental method, applying factorial design, two factors with three replications. The first factor is the dose of herbal supplements (D) as follows: D1 = 100 mL / kg of feed, D2 = 200 mL / kg of feed, D3 = 300 mL / kg of feed, the second factor, namely the stocking density (P), P1 = 50 fish/m3, P2 = 75 fish/m3. Cages used measuring 1 x 1.5 x 1 m 18 units. Body weight 6-7 g of fish and length of 8-12 cm, and maintained for 60 days. Herbal ingredients that are used as galanga, ginger, and turmeric each 100 g, 175 mL molasses, probiotic drinks 65 mL and 50 mg yeast. Herbal ingredients are blended until smooth, filtered to obtain a solution. Then added 3 L of water and boil. After boiling the solution is left to cool at room temperature. Then add the molasses, probiotic drinks, and yeast. Then stirring until blended and fermented for 7-10 days. During fermentation container is opened every day ± 5 minutes to let the gas out. Feed given three times a day, as many as 10% of body weight. Hematology parameters and physiological measurements were conducted three times, the beginning, day 30 and 60 maintenance. The results showed that the herbal supplement dose of 200 mL / kg diet and stocking density 75 fish/m3 provides the best results of the hematology profile and physiological striped catfish than the other treatments (p
