Respon Lanjut Usia Terhadap Program Jatah Hidup (Jadup) Kategori Jompo Di Kecamatan Pangean Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

Program JADUP is one program that was created for the welfare of the elderly by the Social Service in the form of providing funds living facilities for the elderly category of nursing with the criteria that have been established which is aged over 60 years, chronic illness, heavily dependent on others, bedridden so not able to undergo daily activities - day, do not have a source of steady income, poor and neglected.
This study aims to look at how the process of program implementation JADUP conducted by the Social Service / Social Welfare Agency Secretariat of Regency Kuantan Sengingi, and to see how the response of the elderly to the implementation of the program. The subjects were elderly people in the district of Pangean which is the largest region received assistance from the program JADUP with a total of 511 people, to analyze the response of the elderly to the implementation of the samples taken were 51 people from five villages in the district of the Pangean. This research using quantitative descriptive method with the aim of getting an overview of the characteristics of the elderly, the process of implementation of the program and the response JADUP elderly to implementation.
The results of quantitative descriptive analysis of this study showed that the process of program implementation JADUP in the District Pangean Regency Kuantan Sengingi conducted by the Department of Social Services / Agency Social Welfare Secretary starting the process of data collection, sorting and recapitulate the data recipients, guidance and social activities, and supervision, monitoring and evaluation during the activity, the replacement beneficiaries of the program JADUP if any, reports of activities, and handle complaints and complaints during the implementation of the program JADUP if any. All of this has been carried out properly in accordance with the specified assignments (tasks and functions) as the organizer of the program in the district of Kuantan Sengingi khsusnya in District Pangean. Response elderly recipients JADUP program in general, from promotion, data collection, provision, disbursement of funds and assistance that does by the district in general satisfactory, with a level of achievement over 70%. These results indicate the existence of a sense of satisfaction and happiness for the elderly, because of the presence of JADUP program is able to help them in meeting the needs of everyday life.
