The research titled “Land Conflict Between Communities with PT Riau Agung Karya Abadi in Desa Danau Lancang Kecamatan Tapung Hulu”. This research was conducted in Desa Danau Lancang Kecamatan Tapung Hulu. The purpose of this study was to determine the cause of a land conflict in Desa Danau Lancang Kecamatan Tapung Hulu with PT Riau Agung Karya Abadi. opics focus of research is how the land conflict resolution efforts in Desa Danau Lancang Kecamatan Tapung Hulu with PT Riau Agung Karya Abadi. Analysis of the research problems using the theory of conflict. The population of this research is all parties who know first hand information about the conflict. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. The author uses descriptive qualitative method and the data were analyzed qualitatively. Data instrument is observation, interview and literature study. The results showed that the factors causing conflict the community with PT Riau Agung Karya Abadi due to the influence of economic factors, political factors and social factors. Conflict resolution efforts carried out by means of conciliation, adjudication and mediation. The new conflict settlement reached after mediation bright spot in depth by the authorities.
