Faktor-Faktor Sosial Ekonomi Yang Mempengaruhi Pertumbuhan Pada Balita Suku Banjar
Growth is an indicator of the health status of children, one of which influences socio-economic factors including education, employment, income, number of dependents. The purpose of this study is to determine the socio-economic factors that affect growth in the Banjar tribal toddlers in Tempuling District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. Descriptive correlation research design with cross sectional approach, the study sample numbered 130 respondents using total sampling techniques. The measuring instrument used was a questionnaire. The analysis used is univariate analysis and bivariate analysis to determine the correlation. The statistical test used the Chi-Square test and the alternative Kolmogorov Smirnov test with α 0.05. The results showed that the work of TB / U (0.013) and the number of dependents of TB / U families (0.001) p value 0.05 which shows there is no relationship between maternal education and family income with the growth of TB / U. Education with BB / U (0.238), employment with BB / U (0.577), income with BB / U (0.642), number of dependents of a family with BB / U (0.122). p value> 0.05, indicating there is no relationship between education, employment, income and the number of family dependents with the growth of under-five children / under-fives. This research is expected to be a reference for other researchers, parents and health workers to further improve the health status of toddlers, especially the factors that influence it.
