Peranan Kopral Amnah M. Nur Sebagai Polisi Tentara Dalam Mempertahankan Kemerdekaan Di Siak Sri Indrapura Tahun 1945-1947

After the proclamation of Indonesian independence spread to areas including Siak Sri Indrapura the people still had to struggle in maintaining independence, but this struggle was not only carried out by men but also for some women. Amnah M. Nur is a female warrior in Siak Sri Indrapura. The purpose of this research is to find out the childhood of Amnah M. Nur, to find out the role of Amnah M. Nur in maintaining independence in Siak Sri Indrapura, to find out the end of Amnah M. Nur's struggle in maintaining independence in Siak Sri Indrapura. The method used in this study was a qualitative description method and historical method. The results of this study are, Amnah M. Nur came from a simple family which was well educated by her mother because when she was a child her father had died. Amnah M. Nur attended a public school at the elementary school level and then continued to a higher level at Sultanah Latifah School for four years. Because Siak was at that time in an unstable condition due to the attack from Balanda, Amnah also fought by registering as a member of PMI then continued by becoming a member of the Army Police and the only woman. The place of research in writing this scientific work is Siak Sri Indrapura. Data collection techniques used are, observation, interview and documentation.
