Abstract: The objectives of this study are 1) To know how the Pop Up Book Media improving the ability to talk through story-telling method to the children age of 4-5 years old at Early Childhood Education of Tasa Chantika Kubang Jaya Village Siak Hulu Kampar Regency. 2) To know the implementation of story-telling method by using Pop Up Book media in order to improve the ability to talk the children age of 4-5 years old at Early Childhood Education of Tasa Chantika of Kubang Jaya Village Siak Hulu Subdistrict Kampar Regency. 3) To know the height of improvement the ability to talk the children age of 4-5 years old through story-telling method by using Pop Up Book media at Early Childhood Education of Tasa Chantika Kubang Jaya Village Siak Hulu Subdistrict Kampar Regency. The type of this study is Classroom Action Research. As for the subject of this study are 10 children age of 4-5 years old including 4 boys and 6 girls. Based on study results, it is known that Pop Up Book Media can improve children’s ability to talk age of 4-5 years old at Early Childhood Education of Tasa Chantika Kubang Jaya Village Siak Hulu Subdistrict Kampar Regency. The method to improve the ability to talk the children age of 4-5 years old at Early Childhood Education of Tasa Chantika Kubang Jaya Village Siak Hulu Subdistrict Kampar Regency are using two cycles in which one cycle there are three meetings so generally story-telling method by using Pop Up Book media is implemented in six meetings. As before the activity is conducted to cycle I, the improvement is 35,05%. While the improvement of children’s ability to talk from cycle I to cycle II 44,08%, and overall, improvement of children’s ability to talk from previous data to cycle II is 94,59%. Based on the result of hypothesis testing, story-telling method by using pop up media influences ability to talk of children age 4-5 years old at Early Childhood Education of Tasa Chantika Kubang Jaya Village Siak Hulu Subdistrict Kampar Regency.
