Abtrak: Calculating activities applied in PAUD Permata Hati Pulau Kijang still use conventional method or workmanship of exercise in notebook, low ability to count and less interest to counting learning for students of PAUD Kijang Island is also marked by some problems as follows: 1) child difficulties to analyze 1) children difficulties comparing small numbers of values, 4) children having difficulty in operating numbers 1-5, 5) children having difficulty mentioning numbers sequentially 1-5 or otherwise 5 -1. Based on the result of the research, it can be seen that the ability of counting results of the early child in PAUD Permata Hati Kijang Island Reteh Sub-district Indragiri Hilir Regency at the beginning observation on the indicator to analyze the number 1-10 score 26 with the percentage of 50% enter in MB category, Score 26 with percentage 50% included in MB category, on indicator compare small value of score number 25 with percentage 48,08% enter in MB category, on operational indicator of number 1-5 number of score 22 with percentage 42,31% enter at Katerori MB, the indicator mentioned the numbers sequentially 1-5 or vice versa 5-1 the number of scores 13 with 25% percentage entered in the BB category. From the calculation of data analysis above Permata Hati seen that the increase that occurred in cycle II is equal to 35%. Here it is seen that the increase is quite significant and does not need to be continued in cycle III.
