Upaya Peningkatan Diplomasi Kebudayaan Indonesia Terhadap Australia Dalam Mempromosikan Konsep 10 Pulau Bali Baru (New Balis) Melalui Festival Ozasia Tahun 2016
The development of the media's world continues to increase, starting from technology, information and communication. So that the media as well as a tool to do cultural diplomacy. Regarding the aim of the study to find out which developments of tourism in Indonesia, how the government of Indonesia made a concept called "10 New Balis" as a weapon to be shown to all people of the world about the beauty of Indonesia other than the island of Bali and explain how the effort of Indonesia’s government do the cultural diplomacy to Australia.
The suitable theory used in this study is the cultural diplomacy thery, which is an effective way to achieve a goal for a country because it can be done in any situation peacefully without do the war. The research conducted is qualitative research, with the research method used is descriptive research method that describe or explain the events and occurrences that exist at the present time. This method is a method which seeks to collect, collate, interpret the data that was submitted by analyzing these data or analyzes of the phenomenon as well as a method of examining an object, a condition, a system of thought or a class of events in the present.
In developing tourism of Indonesia, the government undertook cultural diplomacy efforts to Australia in OzAsia Festival that held in Adelaide, Australia. By introducing the beauty and potentials of the 10 New Balis, then inviting the international people to visit the New Balis in Indonesia. The media is also important one to promoting the beauty of the whole New Balis of Indonesia. That efforts has a good impact on the number of foreign tourists from Australia who come to Indonesia that increased every year. Its good for the future of tourism and economy of Indonesia.
