The main objective of this study is to examine the effect of user involvement, training and
education, top management support, and personal technical skills on the performance of
accounting information systems in OPD in Pekanbaru using data analysis methods using
Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) by using Warp-PLS
Software version 6.0. The population in this study are all Regional Apparatus
Organizations (OPD) in Pekanbaru. Sample selection uses the Slovin method as a
measuring tool for calculating sample sizes. Respondents in this study are heads of
offices, employees in the section / unit that manages finance using accounting information
systems at 39 OPDs within the Pekanbaru City Government. So the total number of
questionnaires to be distributed amounted to 117. The results of this study concluded that
user involvement, training and education, top management support, and personal
technical skills have a positive effect on the performance of accounting information
systems. This indicates, that if the user involvement, training and education, top
management support, and personal technical skills in a government agency are better in
applying, it can increase the performance of accounting information systems.
