Perilaku Adaptasi Perempuan Manhaj Salaf Di Kota Pekanbaru
Manhaj Salaf is an understanding of previous scholars who followed the path of the
Prophet and his Companions, this understanding is considered as Islam tends to be stiff, hard even
radical understanding in Indonesia because it returns to pure Islamic rules. The controversy that
occurs in Manhaj Salaf's understanding makes someone choosing this path must be faced with
some pressures in his life, such as rejection from his family environment and even from his current
social environment. Not a few Muslims follow this path, in this study the researchers examined
women with an understanding of Manhaj Salaf where researchers discuss the adaptation behavior
of Manhaj Salaf women in survival after following the Salaf path that is different from
understanding their family and social environment. The study was conducted in the city of
Pekanbaru. The study used a qualitative approach and the selection of informants was carried out
using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used were observation, in-depth
interviews and documentation. The results of this study are the reasons the informants chose the
understanding of Manhaj Salaf because they felt that this understanding was the most correct
understanding according to what the Prophet taught and as Muslims must follow his teachings
without adding or subtracting the teachings in accordance with the Koran and Hadith. This study
also analyzes the adaptation behavior used by the informants in accordance with Anomie's theory
from Merton, using the Rebellion and Ritualism typology, this is because two of the informants are
considered to have abandoned their old understanding and understanding by Manhaj Salaf's
understanding and this researcher associates with the Rebellion typology analysis, while the other
two informants no longer believed in their old understanding but still did several cases in
accordance with the old understanding, and this was in accordance with the typology of Ritualism.
