Penertiban Pedagang Kaki Lima Di Kecamatan Tampan Kota Pekanbaru
Pekanbaru City has become the main target for urbanites to find employment which results in an increase in street vendors (PKL) who disrupt public order. The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) has the task of maintaining public order and public order as well as protecting the community. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Research subjects based on the problems to be studied analyzed the Control of Street Vendors (PKL) by the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) of Pekanbaru City (a case study on Jalan Soebrantas, Tampan District) was carried out by purposive sampling to determine informants. The control of street vendors (PKL) on Jalan Soebrantas is carried out by officers of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) using a persuasive, preventive and repressive approach. In this control, the Civil Service Police Unit Officers (Satpol PP) also carry out socialization and educate street vendors (PKL) in maintaining public order. As for the sanctions received by street vendors (PKL) who are determined to sell in locations that are not in accordance with the regulations are evictions of stalls or places selling for sale.
