Pengetahuan Orangtua Terhadap Fitur-Fitur Smartphone Dalam Uapaya Antisipasi Dampak Buruk Pornografi Pada Remaja Di Kecamatan Bukitraya Kota Pekanbaru

The family’s challanges having teenagers in the digital age are increasing, there are many dangers that threaten teenagers from the negative impact of technological developments, the role of families in protecting the teenagers is expected to be very intensive. The existence of smartphones that are owned by almost all teenagers today can have a negative impact if their using is not properly supervised. Family is the first place who has the responsiblity for supervising the teenagers from the influence of bad environment and the negative influence of smartphones with the easiness access to pornography. So the problem formulations in this study were (1) How parents 'knowledge and adaptation to the features available on smartphones had an effect on preventing adolescents from being exposed to pornography through the application of family functions, (2) Did the parent’s social status affect the parent’s knowledge and adaptation of the smartphone’s features in an effort to maintain family functions?. The results showed that there was a significant influence between socioeconomic status and knowledge on the application of family functions in an effort to fortify their teenagers from the negative effects of pornography. Where the better the level of socioeconomic status of parents, the better the implementation of the family functions related to efforts to prevent their teenagers from being exposed to the bad effects of pornography. Although there is an effect of the level of education, income or parents' work on the application of family functions in an effort to fortify adolescents from exposure to pornography, the adaptation pattern of most of the families who were respondents in this study was in the medium category, meaning that the implementation of the AGIL function in the family was not fully good, as stated by Talcott. Parsons, meaning that the implementation of family functions that exist in the family at this time still has the potential for their teenagers to be exposed to the bad effects of pornography via smartphones. The level of parental knowledge regarding the issue of pornography that hit the teenagers is still low, there are still many parents who do not get information regarding how to distribute content pornography and the dangers of pornography to the teenage brain.
