Evaluasi Mutu Campuran Hotmix Ac-Wc (Asphalt Concrete- Wearing Course) (Studi Kasus Jalan Siak Sri Indrapura - Buton, Kabupaten Siak)

ABSTRACT
This research purposed to know about the quality of AC-WC mixture used
on the Siak Sri indrapura-Buton road, and compare it with the specification of
Bina Marga and Job Mix Formula (JMF). The sample used is the rest of the
production from AMP. The examination guided on SNI and review Aggregate
Wear, Characteristics of Asphalt, Asphalt Extraction, the Gradation of Aggregate,
Gravity Maximum of Mix (Gmm), VIM (Void In Mix), VMA (Void In Mineral
Agregate), VFA (Void Filled Asphalt), Stability, Flow (Kelelehan), MQ (Marshall
Quotient). The result of Aggregate Wear examination is 22,85 %, and for
Characteristics of Asphalt is Asphalt Softening Point got 58,90 0C, Asphalt Flash
Point got 265 0C, Asphalt Spesific Gravity got 1,03, Lose Weight Asphalt got 0,01
%, dan Asphalt Penetration got 66,50, the Extraction of Asphalt got 6,02 % and
6,07 %, Gravity Maximum of Mix (Gmm) got 2,35 and 2,361. On the Marshall
Examination got the value of VMA is 17,40 %, VIM 4,85 %, VFA 72,13 %,
Stability 1278,46 Kg, Flow 3,86 mm, and MQ 295,03 Kg/mm. From that result
showing that the quality of AC-WC Mixture used on the Siak Sri indrapura-Buton
road is fulfill of the Spesification of Bina Marga and Job Mix Formula (JMF).
