Uji Antagonis Bakteri Probiotik(Lactobacillus Fermentum Inacc B1295) Terhadap Bakteri Patogen Pada Tanaman Sawi (Brassica Juncea L.)
Sawi (Brassica junceae L.) is a vegetable crop which is often attacked by
wet rot caused by Erwinia carotovora and black rot by Xhantomonas campestris.
Environmentally friendly disease control is needed to maintain the balance of the
ecosystem. One way to treat these diseases is to use the probiotic bacteria
Lactobacillus fermentum InaCC which can have a positive effect on mustard
growth. This study aims to 1. Determine the compatible properties of
Lactobacillus fermentum InaCC B1295 against mustard greens and its effect on
mustard greens, 2. Determine the inhibition of Lactobacillus fermentum InaCC
B1295 against Erwinia carotovora, Xanthomonas campestris in vitro and to
obtain L. fermentum InaCC assistance B1295 which is able to control diseases in
mustard plants in vivo.
The research was conducted at the Plant Disease Laboratory and
Experimental Garden Technical Implementation Unit, Postgraduate Agricultural
Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Riau. The study was conducted in
November 2019-May 2020. Three stages of the research experiment, namely: 1)
Inability test of Lactobacillus fermentum InaCC B1295 against mustard greens in
the screen house using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments
and 4 replications, obtained 16 experimental units. The treatment was control
(without offering Lactobacillus fermentum InaCC B1295), application of
Lactobacillus fermentum InaCC B1295 at 105, 106 and 107 cfu / ml. 2) In vitro test
of Lactobacillus fermentum InaCC B1295 against Erwinia carotovora and
Xanthomonas campestris 3) In vivo test of Lactobacillus fermentum InaCC B1295
against Erwinia carotovora and Xanthomonas campestris on mustard greens
using RAL with 5 groups and 4 replications to obtain 20 experimental units. The
treatments were control (without Lactobacillus fermentum InaCC B1295),
offering Lactobacillus fermentum InaCC B1295 at 105, 106, 107 and 108 cfu/ml.
Application of Lactobacillus fermentum InaCC B1295 at 105 cfu/ml is the
best in controlling Erwinia carotovora and Xanthomonas campestris because it
can reduce attack intensity by 21% (Ec) and 19.66% (Xc), increase plant height
42.50% (Ec) and 47.97% (Xc), the number of leaves 24.62% (Ec) and 30.00%
(Xc), leaf length 25.06% (Ec) and 26.40% (Xc), wet weight 433.2% (Ec ) and
541.5% (Xc), and the root length of 13.50% (Ec) and 18.30% (Xc)
