Respons Beberapa Varietas Kacang Hijau (Vigna Radiata L.) Terhadap Intensitas Penyemprotan Pupuk Daun
Mung bean cultivation in Indonesia has a major problem, namely low productivity so that it cannot meet the increasing demand for green beans for consumption and raw materials for the processed industry. The limited number of new high yielding varieties contributes to the low productivity of mung bean plants. Fertilization through soil is sometimes less effective because some nutrients are lost. The purpose of this study was to determine the response of growth and production of several varieties of mung bean to the intensity of foliar fertilizer spraying and to determine the appropriate intensity of foliar fertilizer spraying to increase mung bean production.
The research was carried out at the Kubang Agricultural Technology Research and Research Installation and Research Installation (IP2TP), Riau Agricultural Technology Research Institute (BPTP) in Kampar Regency, from April to September 2020. The study used a split plot design consisting of two factors, namely mung bean varieties. and the intensity of foliar fertilizer spraying. The first factor as the main plot was the intensity of foliar fertilizer spraying consisting of 4 levels, namely without spraying as a control, spraying Gandasil B every 5, spraying Gandasil B every 8, and spraying Gandasil B every 11 days and the second factor as subplots was green bean varieties, Kampar, RokanHulu, Wren, Murai, Vima-1 and Sampeong varieties. Observations were made on 5 sample plants with variables including: plant growth rate, leaf area, flowering age, plant height, number of productive branches, length of harvest period, number of pithy pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, weight of seeds per plant, weight of one thousand. seeds, seed weight per plot, and simultaneous ripe pods. The results showed that the different varieties significantly affected plant growth rate, plant height, number of productive branches, number of pithy pods per plant, seed weight per plot, thousand seeds weight and seed weight per plant. Foliar fertilizer spraying interval significantly affected plant height, leaf area, flowering age, harvest time, number of pithy pods per plant, number of pods seeds, seed weight per plot, and seed weight per plant. The interaction between the time interval treatment of foliar fertilizer spraying with varieties had a very significant effect on Flowering Age (UB), Harvest Time (LMP), Number of Fertilized Pods Per Plant (JPBPT), Number of Seeds Per Pod (JBPP), and significantly different to Thousand Weight. Seed (BSB), Seed Weight Per Plot (BBPP). The highest yields were obtained for the Rokanhulu and Sampeong varieties at 1.8656 kg / plot and 1.8302 kg / plot. The best time interval for spraying fertilizer is in the interval treatment of spraying fertilizer every 5 days.
