Strategi Peningkatan Kapasitas Pelayanan Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Kutaraja Provinsi Aceh

ABSTRACT
This research was conducted at the Kutaraja Ocean Fishing Port, precisely in
Kuta Alam District, Banda Aceh City, Aceh Province. This study aims to
determine the service capacity strategy at the Kutaraja Ocean Fishing Port.
According to the Decree of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of the
Republic of Indonesia Number 50 / KEPMEN-KP / 2017 concerning the
Estimation of Potential Fish Resources in the State Fisheries Management Area
of the Republic of Indonesia 571 of 425,444 tons / year and 572 of 1,240,975 tons
/ year, where data on the development of catch production at PPS Kutaraja
during the last 6 years from 2014-2019 has increased, and the highest production
amount occurred in 2019 which amounted to 20,033.24 tons, an average of 56
tons per day this number is said to have reached the standard for fishing ports
with type A. The amount of louded fish catches at the post depend on the number
of ship visits where the highest number of ship visits was in 2019, amounting to
4915 trips. To meet the increase in the number of production and ship visits at the
Kutaraja Ocean Fishing Port, a more optimal service improvement strategy is
needed to support smooth operations at the port. The strategies that can be
recommended for increasing service capacity at the Kutaraja Ocean Fishing Port
are increasing the amount of catch production and the number of fishing fleets to
exploit the potential of fish resources in Aceh, increasing cooperation with
investors in the fisheries sector, working with fishermen and stakeholders to
increase the need for supplies. go to sea, increase the number of employees to
improve cleanliness in the TPI environment, improve facility management and
adapt facilities to their functions, utilize port land as a place to land fish catches
at PPS Kutaraja, collaborate with the private sector to access capital for
development.
