Abstract
Heavy equipment is a tool used to help and relieve people in doing development
work in a project. The use of heavy equipment that is in accordance with the
function in project implementation will greatly impact project performance. In
addition, it will have an impact on the costs of implementing a construction
project. In order for the execution of work to run smoothly, a good heavy
equipment management is needed. This study aims to compare the cost and time
of using heavy equipment in the field with the cost and time of using heavy
equipment from 3 alternative tool combinations. The conclusion obtained is the
right combination of heavy equipment with the most economical cost of use and
a relatively short time.
