Strategi Promosi Dinas Kebudayaan Dan Pariwisata Dalam Memperkenalkan Wisata Bersejarah Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi Di Kota Pekanbaru

Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi is one of the historical tourist objects in Pekanbaru City. Located in Badar village, Senapelan sub-district, Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi is a strategic tourist attraction because it is located on the banks of the Siak river, Pekanbaru City and has also been made a cultural heritage certified by the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office. However, there are still many people in Pekanbaru who do not know about the existence of Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting research on how the "Promotion Strategy of the Culture and Tourism Office in Introducing Historical Tourism Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi in Pekanbaru City with the aim of knowing how social media marketing, sales promotion, and events are being conducted..
This research uses qualitative methods and the technique of determining the informants in this study uses purposive and accidental techniques, and the informants in this study amounted to 5 people. Purposive techniques were used for informants from the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office, and accidental techniques were used for informants from the public who were visiting Tuan Kadi's Halfway House.
Based on the results of the research and the results of the analysis, the researcher concludes that the promotion strategy of the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office in introducing the historical tourism "Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi" is less than optimal, it can be seen in the implementation of social media marketing that has not been maximized because on the Instagram account @ rtq.pekanbaru only posts 2 -3 photos in one week. Sales Promotion that is carried out is by giving souvenirs to prospective tourists, holding photo contests, and using tourist ambassadors to introduce Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi, in this case it can be said that it is not optimal because sales promotions are carried out only once a year or if they are being held only major events. The annual event held at the Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi, namely the Siak River Festival and the second apprenticeship event has been very good at the Tuan Kadi Halfway House, because this event can certainly attract the attention of the people of Pekanbaru to get to know Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi. However, this is considered ineffective because the event which is held once a year, of course, is quite a long time.
