Intensitas Efektif Sinyal Wireles Fidelity (Wifi) Dalam Ruangan Tertutup Terhadap Fungsi Suhu Dan Kelembaban
Wireless fidelity (Wifi) signal is an electromagnetic wave that in its application does not
require intermediary media for communication purposes. The intensity of the signal is
strongly influenced by the media passed, such as the humidity function, temperature and
source position. Wifi signals can also experience interference from other electromagnetic
waves that have the same frequency. Electronic media objects located around the source can
also interfere with the intensity of the signal. This paper aims to investigate what factors are
inhibiting the transmission of signals in a closed room. The treatment given is to determine
the source point of the electromagnetic signal and the signal receiver. Measurements were
performed on thermodynamic functions for each state and position using a router that has a
frequency of 2.4-2.4835 GHz as the source, usb antenna connected to the laptop as a receiver,
room media 4.5×3.8×1 m, temperature 23-32 ⁰ C, humidity 42-70%, software Vistumbler
version 10.234. The results of signal intensity contour measurement showed maximum
intensity rated -32 dB and minimum rated -42 dB. The characterization of the function F=f
(r,T,h) shows uneven signal transmission indoors and a positive linear relationship between
the decrease in signal quality to rising temperatures and humidity. These results are directly
proportional to previous studies in the room 9×9×1 m, where the intensity of the signal
correlates positively against the humidity, but negative to the temperature
