ABSTRACT
Pekanbaru city has been developed quite rapidly which makes the local
government is aware of the hugh demand for multi-storey building construction. If
buildings built with more than two floors those are required to conduct a soil
subsidence analysis. The analysis is intended to minimize the risk of building
failure and ensure that the foundation of the building actually rests on supporting
ground that meets the requirements. The load of a structure will be transmitted by
the foundation to the ground, where the soil is expected to be able to support the
load applied. The pile foundation bearing capacity data were calculated base on
the Cone Penetration Test (CPT) data. The CPT which also called Sondir Test is
usually used to determine the soil profile continuously into a certain depth with
delivering the value of cone tip resistance and friction resistance. The purpose of
this study is to analyze the calculation of the settlement of a single pile
foundation based on a diameter 60 cm concrete pile foundation bearing capacity
data using the elastic settlement method. CPT data was taken from 40 locations
which are spread on 10 disctricts in Pekanbaru city. The calculation of elactic
settlement of the pile foundations were carried out in depth of 6 meters, 12 meters
and 18 meters respectively. The result of calculations for each location then
were connected base on its depths and plotted on seperated maps. The color
legends are made on the maps to indicate different value of elastic settlement.
