Pembuatan Dan Karakterisasi Elektroda Karbon Aktif Dari Daun Kelengkeng Sebagai Aplikasi Superkapasitor
This study focuses on the effect of using longan leaf waste as a supercapacitor
electrode with variations in the concentration of ZnCl2 in the form of 0.3 M, 0.5 M,
0.7 M. Carbon electrodes from longan leaves were carbonized at a temperature of
600ºC followed by a physical activation process using CO2 at a temperature of 850ºC
for 2.5 O'clock. The XRD characterization has a sloping peak with an angle range of
23.321° - 23.103° and 42.497° - 43.534°. Electrochemical properties were studied
based on the specific capacitance value using Cyclic Voltametry and Galvanostatic
Charge Discharge with the highest capacitance value in the LF 0.5 M sample of
169.53 F/g. Longan leaves are suitable to be used as supercapacitor carbon electrodes,
especially using 0.5 M ZnCl2 activator.
