Biosintesis Nanopartikel Perak Menggunakan Ekstrak Kulit Buah Nanas Untuk Deteksi Hidrogen Peroksida Berdasarkan Metode Kolorimetri
The biosynthesis of silver (Ag) nanoparticles has been carried out by reacting pineapple
peel extract and AgNO3 solution. Ratio of the composition of the extract and the
AgNO3 solution, namely, 1: 1 by varying the AgNO3 concentration of 1 mM, 2.5 mM,
and 5 mM. The nanoparticle synthesis process was carried out at 80oC for 30 minutes.
The nanoparticles obtained were characterized using UV-Vis, FTIR, and XRD to study
their physical properties, functional groups, and crystalline properties. Furthermore,
the Ag nanoparticle sample was tested for sensitivity to Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2).
Characterization with the UV-Vis spectrophotometer showed the formation of
nanoparticles which is indicated by the absorbance peaks of each sample of 1 mM, 2.5
mM, and 5 mM at a wavelength of 403 nm, 405 nm, and 406 nm. XRD pattern shows
that the diffraction peaks have a Miller index of each diffraction peaks (111), (200),
(220), and (311). FTIR characterization of each sample showed the optical uptake of
the functional groups O-H, C=O, and C≡C, which are the polyphenol content of
pineapple peel extract. H2O2 sensitivity examined using AgAC 2.5 mM, there is still a
solution of Ag nanoparticles. The optimum sensitivity test found in the 1 mM AgNO3
sample which was characterized by a significant change in the color of the solution in
a short time.
