Pemodelan Filter Akustik Untuk Frekuensi Tinggi Menggunakan Metode Komputasi
Computer model of acoustic filter has been made for high frequency using finite
element method. The aim of this research is to make some models of a pipe with
variation of one slit, two slits and three slits that has function as an acoustic filter.
The benefit of acoustic filter in daily life is for sound muffler such as in refrigerator
and air conditioning, for machine component such as in muffler high pressure, gas
turbine and rotary pump. These models were built using MATHLAB R2015a
software. There were 5 frequencies used in this research namely 1 Hz, 201 Hz, 401
Hz, 601 Hz and 801 Hz with pressure intake of 1. This computer model uses 2-
Dimensional approach and analyzed qualitatively. The result shows that transmission
pressure is smaller than that for intake pressure because the pressure has been
filtered when it passes though the slits in the pipe. The higher the wave frequency of
the incoming wave, the smaller the filtered transmission pressure. Transmission
coefficient of waves for pipe with one slit, double slits and triple slits is 0,8628,
0,8147 and 0,7877, respectively.
