Beton Untuk Sekat Kanal Menggunakan Abu Terbang Dan Air Gambut Sebagai Air Pencampur Dan Perawatan
Research on concrete for canal blocking has not been done much,
especially to determine the mechanical and physical properties of concrete,
namely the compressive strength and porosity of concrete when in a peat
environment. This study aims to analyze the optimum concrete mix using a
mixture of fly ash and peat water to produce a concrete mixture with the criteria
of increasing compressive strength and low porosity. This study also examines the
effect of a mixture of fly ash and peat water by setting time analysis, AAS leaching
analysis and FT-IR analysis. Some of the concrete mixtures studied in this study
had variations in water-cement factors (0.44; 0.49; 0.54), variations in fly ash
(0%, 12.5%, 25%), variations in mixing and treatment water, namely peat water
and plain water.
The control concrete mixture is a mixture using PCC cement. The test
results at the age of 28 days showed that the mixture with various factors of
cement water = 0.49, fly ash = 12.5%, mixing water and treatment using peat
water resulted in optimum compressive strength and porosity values of 22.92 MPa
and 12.96 %. For setting time analysis, AAS leaching analysis and FT-IR
analysis, the results met the requirements. It can be concluded that with the right
mixture composition between fly ash and peat water in the concrete mixture for
canal blocking can increase the compressive strength and low porosity, good
setting time value, environmentally friendly, and meet the requirements for the
suitability of concrete constituent compounds.
