ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of demographic dimension,
education dimension, economic dimension, housing facilities and employment
dimension on poverty in Sulawesi Island. This research uses descriptive
quantitative research methods. The type of data in this study is secondary data
sourced from the publications of the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency, with
the research unit being the Regency/City in each of the Provinces on the Island of
Sulawesi. Data analysis in this study used SEM-Partial Least Square (PLS) with
the Bootstrap method approach. The results showed that the demographic
dimension had a positive and significant influence on poverty on Sulawesi Island,
the education dimension had a positive and significant impact on poverty on
Sulawesi Island, the economic dimension did not have any effect on poverty on
Sulawesi Island, the housing facility dimension had a significant influence.
