Persepsi Mahasiswa Profesi Ners Terhadap Pelaksanaan Profesi Ners Secara Daring Di Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Riau
Perception is a process of giving an assessment or response to
something after a stimulus comes from the environment. Online learning methods
implemented in nursing professional education can form new perceptions among
students, namely positive perceptions and negative perceptions. This study aims to
determine the perceptions of nursing profession students towards the online nursing
profession at the Faculty of Nursing, Riau University. Methods: This study used a
descriptive design. The population in this study were students of the Nursing
Professional Regular Program A 2016 Faculty of Nursing, University of Riau in
2020/2021. The sample of this study amounted to 75 respondents using total
sampling technique. The measuring instrument used is a valid and reliable
questionnaire. The analysis used is univariate analysis. Result: This study shows
that 70 respondents (93.3%) have a positive perception of the online nursing
profession, 4 respondents (5.3%) have a negative perception, and 1 respondent
(1.3%) has a very positive perception. Conclusion: Students' perceptions of the
online nursing profession at the Faculty of Nursing, University of Riau, generally
show a positive perception. It is recommended for institutions to optimize the use
of online media/applications and appropriate learning methods for online learning,
so that the learning process and the goals of nursing professional education
competencies can be achieved maximally.
