ABSTRACT
The main purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of population growth and the
effect of land use changes on the drainage channel on Jalan Swakarya Tuah Karya
Village Tuah Madani District Pekanbaru City. The research approach method uses
the EPA SWMM mathematical model assistance program with monthly rainfall data
input from Pekanbaru City Rainfall Station 2006-2021 from BWSS III (Sumatra River
Region III), topographic map and land use of Pekanbaru City Riau Province. The
main results of this study are changes in the dimensions of the drainage channel from
width (b) = 0.7 m, depth (H) = 0.7 m and width (b) = 0.4 m, depth (H) = 0.4 m ,
being width (b) = 1.1 m, depth (h+w) = 1.2 m.
