Perancangan Museum Seni Sastra Di Pekanbaru Dengan Prinsip Arsitek Cesar Pelli

ABSTRACT
Pekanbaru City has quite a lot of cultural diversity such as dance, music and
literary arts. In particular, literary art is not yet available in buildings as a place
to study and preserve the culture. Therefore, in this design a museum building will
be built which functions as a container that houses cultural activities in
Pekanbaru by applying the principles of architect Cesar Pelli. As for some ideas
that use architect Cesar Pelli's principles, including abstract forms, free forms,
metaphorical concepts and proportional composition. From the results of the
design of this literary arts museum, it benefits such as accommodating the public
to develop interest and talent towards scholarship in the field of Malay and
modern literature. This concept can also be applied in building museums in
Pekanbaru to be of modern value. With the availability of a forum as a shelter of
Riau Malay culture, it is expected to foster a sense of love for the local culture in
combating foreign cultural attacks.
