Perancangan Coworking Space Di Pekanbaru Dengan Pendekatan Prinsip Desain Richard Rogers

ABSTRACT
Renting an office to work will definitely cost you a fortune, for a business that is
already large and growing it may not be a problem, but for new business owners or
startups and even freelancers, renting your own office is tough. To save money,
millennials prefer to work from home, the nearest coffee shop or cafe. But working
at home, even though it doesn't cost money, is a challenge in itself, because it is
difficult to build work discipline in a place of rest. In addition, working in a cafe or
coffee shop requires immigrants to buy coffee, food or other drinks which, if done
every day, are also expensive. Therefore, many millennials now choose to work in
coworking spaces because they can rent a variety of workplaces at reasonable
prices, and get office facilities without having to spend a lot of money. Coworking
space is a rental space equipped with work facilities that also have social functions
for users to interact, exchange information, and collaborate. The application of
Richard Rogers' design principles to the design of coworking spaces can produce
flexible designs that can affect various activities in the coworking space.
