ABSTRACT

Dumai City does not have a safe place for education and recreation for children. Recreational places in Dumai City are only in Bukit Gelanggang Park which is in Dumai City Square, a busy children's playground at night, near an intersection which is very dangerous for children and an environment that lacks lighting is used as abuse. in that area. With the design of the Children Education Center in the city of Dumai, it can provide the facilities needed by children. Children will learn about nature and its surroundings, with Expressionist principles can help provide good solutions for buildings. The facilities that will be provided are in accordance with the Expressionist approach because the Children Education Center also teaches how nature helps in life.
