Descriptive research has been conducted to determine the level of technical skills
basic volleyball in extracurricular activities for male students at MA Muhammadiyah
Pekanbaru. This descriptive research was conducted in July-December 2021 with a total of
sample of 13 male students of MA Muhammadiyah. The results of this study showing that 1
student or 7.69% is included in the very high category, 4 students or 30.77% are in the high
category, 3 students or 23.08% are in the medium category and 5 students or 38.46% are in
the low category. While, there is not any students who have a very low basic skill level in
play volleyball. The average score of 18.06 in the interval 17≤×
