Cadangan asuransi jiwa dwiguna Menggunakan metode new jersey dan canadian dengan distribusi lomax
Life risks such as accidents, illness, and death can happen to anyone and anywhere. So one way to reduce the possibility of this happening is to take out insurance, especially dual-purpose life insurance that provides protection both when the insured lives until the end of the coverage period or dies in the insurance period. This final project discusses the calculation of premium rese- rves for single insurance participants aged x years using two methods, namely the New Jersey method and the Canadian method using the Lomax distribution. The Lomax distribution parameter estimation is carried out using the maximal likelihood method and is completed through Newton-Raphson iteration, with the results of the estimation obtained using Maple 13 software. Furthermore, calculations are carried out to determine the initial term life annuity, single premium, and annual premium using the Lomax distribution. The calculation results menu shows that the amount of reserves obtained using the Canadian method is greater than the New Jersey method.
