Pengaruh Pemberian Fitohormon 6-Benzil Amino Purin (Bap) Dengan Dosis Berbeda Terhadap Kepadatan Mikroalga Chlorella Sp.
Phytohormone 6-Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) is a plant hormone that can support, inhibit, and alter the physiological processes of plants including microalgae. 6-Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) has a high nitrogen content so that it can increase cell division in microalgae. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of phytohormone 6-Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) on the density and biomass of Chlorella sp. This study used an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) system and analyzed using One Way ANOVA. This research compares three treatments with different doses of phytohormone 6-Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP): Treatment A (1 ml), Treatment B (2 ml), and Treatment C (3 ml). The results of this research showed that Treatment B with 2 ml dose of phytohormone 6-Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) produced the highest density with a value of 3504 × 104 cells/ml. Treatment A with 1 ml dose of phytohormone 6-Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) reached a peak density of 3236 × 104 cells/ml, while treatment C with 3 ml dose of phytohormone 6-Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) reached a peak density of 2906 × 104 cells/ml. As a comparison, the control treatment reached the highest density of 1208 × 104 cells/ml. This shows that with a culture period of 11 days, phytohormone 6-Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) had a significant effect on the cell density of the microalga Chlorella sp. (P < 0.05), and the most effective increase in density was found in Treatment B (2 ml).
