Pengaruh Konsep Diri Dan Kecerdasan Interpersonal Terhadap Disiplin Kerja Guru SD Negeri, Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir
Discipline is an attitude that must be possessed by teachers because with high work discipline it is hoped that the goals of education will be achieved as expected by a school. However, based on the results of observations and interviews with principals from several schools as well as teacher attendance data, it was found that there were teachers who were not present without clear information and the absence was only due to a minor illness who was actually still able to attend work. At SD Negeri 001 Bagan Batu 25 (73.5%) teachers were absent with information and 9 (26.5%) teachers were absent without explanation. SD Negeri 005 Gelora there are 11 (68.75%) absent teachers with information and 5 (31.25%) teachers absent without explanation, Then at SD Negeri 011 Bakti Jaya there are 7 (70%) teachers absent with information and 3 (30%) teachers are absent without explanation. In addition to the problem of high teacher absenteeism, indiscipline is also seen from the lack of responsibility of teachers for the work received, because they cannot complete assignments on time and work results are not in accordan In this study, it was found that the phenomenon/background of the problem, namely the Work Discipline of teachers at SD Negeri Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir, it was still found that there were teachers who were not present without clear information and the absence was only due to a mild illness who actually could still attend work. If this condition is allowed to drag on, it is feared that the school's expected targets will not be achieved. In addition to the problem of high teacher absenteeism, there is also indiscipline that can be seen from the lack of teacher responsibility for the work received, because they cannot complete assignments on time and work results do not match the standards that have been set.
This study aims to examine and analyze 1) the influence of self-concept on the work discipline of elementary school teachers, Bagan sinembah district, Rokan Hilir, 2) the influence of interpersonal intelligence on the work discipline of elementary school teachers, Bagan sinembah district, Rokan Hilir, 3) the effect of between self-concept and interpersonal intelligence together on the work discipline of SD Negeri teachers, Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir. This research is useful for: 1) Adding insight into the knowledge of teachers as educators, especially those related to self-concept and interpersonal intelligence to improve work discipline as a teacher. 2) For other researchers, it can be used as a reference and follow-up for those who want to develop studies in improving work discipline as a teacher.ce with the standards set.
Research hypotheses: 1) There is an influence between self-concept on the work discipline of elementary school teachers, Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir. 2) There is an influence between interpersonal intelligence on the work discipline of elementary school teachers in Bagan Sinemabah District, Rokan Hilir. together on the work discipline of SD Negeri teachers, Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir.
The population of this study were teachers of public elementary schools, Bagan sinembah sub-district, Rokan Hilir, totaling 134 people and all of them were studied. The type of data from this research is primary data and secondary data for those obtained from teachers using questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Processing of data for descriptive statistical analysis in this study using Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 23 for Windows.
The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between self-concept variables (X1) and interpersonal intelligence (X2) on teacher performance discipline (Y) at State Elementary School, Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir. The suggestion from the research is that the principal and parties related to the management of school institutions are expected to improve and strengthen the self-concept that exists in the teacher so that he is able to optimize work discipline.
