Teachers are professional educators who educate, teach, guide, direct, train, assess, and evaluate. To be able to carry out this task, a teacher must have competence according to his field and expertise. Competencies that must be possessed by teachers are pedagogic competence, personality competence, professional competence and social competence. Given the importance of the teacher's role in the process of creating quality human resources, every teacher is required to be aware of their duties and position as teachers, educators, and trainers. To carry out these tasks requires a high work ethic or work spirit in carrying out their duties as a teacher.
Activities and tasks given by educators through several forms of media where it is hoped that collaboration with parents must be able to attract the interest and attention of students. Teachers must pay close attention to how the learning process becomes fun, arouses attention, and arouses curiosity. Along with the process of learning from home, without realizing it, there are now challenges that must be faced together. If not handled properly, it will become a ticking time bomb that will injure the world of education, namely the erosion of integrity.
The need for the role of the principal in an effort to increase the pedagogic competence of teachers so that the work ethic and integrity of the teacher is good so that the goals of educators are achieved optimally. Therefore, the researcher is interested in conducting a study with the title: "The contribution of work ethic during the covid-19 pandemic and teacher integrity to pedagogic competence at SD KKG Berseri, Rengat District, which is moderated by the role of the principal".
The formulation of the problem in this study concerns the work ethic, integrity, role of the principal and pedagogical competence, namely (1) Is there a contribution of work ethic to teacher pedagogical competence moderated by the role of the principal in SD KKG Berseri, Rengat District?; (2) Is there a contribution of integrity to the pedagogical competence of teachers moderated by the role of the principal in SD KKG Berseri, Rengat District?; and (3) Is there a contribution of work ethic and integrity to the pedagogical competence of teachers which is moderated by the role of the principal in SD KKG Berseri, Rengat District?
Based on the problem formulation, the purpose of this research is to analyze (1) the contribution of work ethic to the pedagogic competence of teachers which is moderated by the role of the principal in SD KKG Berseri, Rengat District; (2) Contribution of integrity to teachers' pedagogic competence moderated by the role of the principal in SD KKG Berseri, Rengat District; and (3) the contribution of work ethic and integrity to the pedagogical competence of teachers moderated by the role of the principal at SD KKG Berseri, Rengat District?

This study tested several variables, namely the independent variable, the dependent variable and the moderating variable. The variables to be studied in this study are distinguished as follows: The dependent variable is pedagogic competence (Y) which is influenced by independent variables consisting of work ethic (X1) and integrity (X2). The moderating variable consists of the role (Z). Then the population in this study were all primary school teachers KKG Berseri, Rengat District as many as 120 teachers. Based on the calculation results, the sample set in this study amounted to 120 teachers. The data analysis technique of this research includes descriptive statistical analysis and moderated regression analysis, before carrying out the analysis technique, the analysis requirements will be tested first.
The results of this study indicate that there is a positive contribution and a significant relationship between work ethic moderated by the role of the teacher's pedagogic competence. Then there is a positive contribution and a significant relationship with integrity moderated by the role of the teacher's pedagogic competence and there is a positive contribution and a significant relationship between work ethic and integrity moderated by the role on the teacher's pedagogic competence of SD KKG Berseri, Rengat District.
