Pengaruh Disiplin Kerja Dan Budaya Organisasi Terhadap Komitmen Guru SD Di Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to analyze how the influence of work discipline and organizational culture either partially or simultaneously on the commitment of elementary school teachers in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir Regency.
The study was conducted at 14 public elementary schools in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The time of the study was carried out for four months, namely from August to November 2021. The population in this study were all teachers of Public Elementary Schools in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir Regency, totaling 201 people. The sampling technique used was random sampling with the Slovin formula. The number of samples taken were 134 public elementary school teachers in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The research analysis tool uses descriptive statistics and simple and multiple linear regression analysis.
The results of the study concluded that partially 1). There is a significant influence between work discipline on teacher commitment. The higher the work discipline possessed by the teachers, the higher the level of commitment of the teacher. This indicates that in order to increase the commitment of elementary school teachers in Bagan Sinembah Rokan Hilir District, it is necessary to increase the work discipline of these teachers in schools. 2) There is a significant influence between organizational culture on teacher commitment. The higher the organizational culture of the teacher, the higher the commitment of the teacher. This indicates that in order to increase the commitment of elementary school teachers in Bagan Sinembah Rokan Hilir District, it is necessary to improve the organizational culture of the school in order to increase the commitment of these teachers. 3) Simultaneously there is a significant influence between work discipline and organizational culture together on teacher commitment. The higher the work discipline and organizational culture of the school, the higher the commitment of teachers. This indicates that to increase the commitment of elementary school teachers in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir Regency, it can be done through increasing work discipline and school organizational culture simultaneously. The magnitude of the influence of the variables of Work Discipline and Organizational Culture together on the Commitment of State Elementary School Teachers in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir Regency is 41.50%. While the remaining 51.20% is determined by other factors that are not part of this study. Keywords: work discipline, organizational culture and teacher commitment
